Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has provided latest injury update ahead of their clash against Bournemouth.
Defender Fikayo Tomori, who signed a new deal with the Blues, missed Chelsea’s Champions League group stage 2-1 victory over Lille with a hip strain.
"
[Fikayo] Tomori is not fit for the game, following on from the other day. Hopefully, he should be training next week.," Lampard said, speaking at
his pre-match press conference.
Lampard also provided an update on Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is yet to play for the blues this season as he continues his recovery from an Achilles injury.
“I don’t know, I don’t know," he said, when asked how long he will be out for. “Probably more than weeks."
Chelsea face Bournemouth on Saturday, December 14.
