Former Tottenham man "open" to shock Arsenal transfer

Former Tottenham defender Serge Aurier is reportedly open to make a move to north London rivals Arsenal. The Ivorian left Spurs this summer and is currently with a club. Aurier wants to stay at the Premier League and according to Sky Sports, Arsenal could be a potential destination. The 28-year-old was heavily linked to Gunners when he joined Spurs from PSG for £23million back in 2017, and had even taken pictures of himself in an Arsenal shirt.

Aurier said of his Spurs departure: “I have really enjoyed my time at Spurs and would like to thank the club and the fans. But I feel now is the right time for me to move onto a new challenge.”
