Arsene Wenger reacts to Arsenal's woeful start and responds to return rumours

Arsene Wenger insists Arsenal are "in good shape" despite their poor start of the season. Gunners were defeated in their first three Premier League matches of the season. They are currently sitting in 20th place in the league table, having scored zero goals during the matches. However, Arsenal's legendary manager backs his former side to bounce back after the first unfortunate games.

"Today the club is in good shape," Wenger told BILD LIVE on Friday. "They had two tough games [against Chelsea and Manchester City], the team has potential and I hope they can come back."

Speaking about his possible return to the Emirates Stadium, the French professional added: "I’m 71. I’ve given this club the best years of my life. At the moment I’m just a fan."  Arsenal's next Premier League rivals will be Norwich City on 11th September.
