Football London: Arsenal propose "a player plus cash deal" for top target

Arsenal have proposed a player plus cash deal for Leicester midfielder James Maddison, football.london understands. Mikel Arteta is reported to be an admirer of the Foxes' man, while the club consider him a top target for the summer transfer window, following the transfer of Ben White. Leicester demand a £60m for the midfielder, but Gunners are likely to offer a player plus cash for securing the 24-year-old's transfer. Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Eddie Nketiah are among the players possible to quit the Emirates Stadium this summer.
