Arsenal make decision over Miguel Azeez future amid Granit Xhaka situation

Arsenal teenager Granit Xhaka is reportedly unlikely to go on loan this summer, despite reports claiming the opposite. The 18-year-old was included in the squad for the 3-0 Premier League victory against Sheffield United last season and has his sights on going one better this time around. His time at Gunners is largely depending on midfield options as football.london reveal. Dani Ceballos has already left to re-join Real Madrid this summer, and could well be joined by Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock before the transfer window closes on August 31st. Granit Xhaka could also be heading out of the exit door after agreeing terms with Roma, but with the Italian side still yet to have submitted an acceptable offer for the Swiss international it looks as though he will stay. And should the club decide to push ahead with a signing in this position despite the U-turn over the Xhaka then this would appear to block any pathway for Azeez into the first team this season. Howeveer, if Mikel Arteta stick with what they've got then the 18-year-old is likely to get some first team minutes this campaign.
