Harry Kane has accepted that his failed move to Manchester City is blamed for his struggles this season. However, the England international admits he handled the summer transfer links really well – adding he will learn from the experience. Kane had set his heart on joining up with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad and fulfilling his ambition of winning the game’s biggest trophies. But Tottenham kept rejecting all the offers, with the 28-year-old being left disappointed since then.

“There was a lot of talk over the summer. It is the first time in my career that has happened," expressed Kane.   "That is part of being a big player, dealing with those situations and I think I dealt with it well.”
