Manchester City are reportedly set to hold talks with Ilkay Gundogan over a new two-year contract extension.
The 31-year-old’s contract at the Etihad expires at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
According to the information of Italy-based journalist Ekrem Konur, City are looking to ‘hold talks‘ with Gundogan over a new two-year extension to his current contract.

That would take the Germany international through to the end of the 2024/2025 season, meaning that he would then have been a City player for nine years.
Gundogan signed for City from Borussia Dortmund, back in 2016 and since then went on to make 222 appearances for the Cityzens, scored 41 goals and assisted 29 times.
