"Fighting" Manchester City send Liverpool a Premier League title message

Kyle Walker has sent a defiant message as Manchester City are refusing to step back from their battle with Liverpool until the title race is mathematically over. The Citizens have been the Premier League champions of the past two seasons. During this campaign they are sitting on the 2nd place of the league table, having 13-point gap with the leaders Reds. Though Jurgen Klopp's side remain unbeaten, having won 21 of their 22 matches so far this season, City have the chance to sparkle due to Sergio Aguero's brilliant fitness, as well as the return of Aymeric Laporte, who was named as the best left-sided centre-back by Pep Guardiola. Walker believes the title race between the Blues and Liverpool is still not over. He said: "I'm not going to say it’s over. I'm a professional, this is the job I love to do and I'll keep fighting until mathematically it's over. It's going to be a tough job, we know that. We are alive in all cups, so hopefully we can get some silverware at the end of the season. Last year, we won the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup, so hopefully this year we can retain the titles as well."
