Spain 95-88 Australia

In the semi-final of FIBA World Cup 2019, Spain national team made their way back to the Final for the first time since 2006 with a double-overtime thriller against Australia.

Sergio Llull was an absolute hero in the end for Spain, not only for hitting two three-pointers in the second overtime, but also for playing stellar defence on Patty Mills.

Marc Gasol scored 31 points, Ricky Rubio had a 19-point, 12-assist double-double, with 7 rebounds and 4 steals to his name, also. Llull stopped counting at 17.

Patty Mills got Australia 32 points, but it was not enough to send the Boomers to the Final for the first time ever.
