Fans rage as Paul Pogba named in PFA Team of: "He’s the virus. He doesn’t deserve it"

Manchester United star Paul Pogba has been named in the PFA Team of The Year 2018-19. He is the only player not from either Manchester City and Liverpool. Chelsea star Eden Hazard, meanwhile, missed out. The team was revealed on Thursday. Four players are from Liverpool, including Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane, while five other stars are from Manchester City - Bernado Silva, Raheem Sterling, Ederson, Aymeric Laporte, Fernandinho. Pogba’s inclusion in the team raises several eyebrows as he has struggled for form for large parts of the season. The France international has been directly involved in more League goal this season (22) than he has in any of his previous campaigns in the top five European Leagues. However, fans on social media slammed the player. "He’s the virus. He doesn’t deserve it," one Red Devils supporter tweeted after the news. "Sorry but he doesn't deserve it," another added. https://twitter.com/thisisChristof/status/1121326354962710529 https://twitter.com/OleTrain/status/1121326656730349568 https://twitter.com/HelloFromSachin/status/1121326550358659072 https://twitter.com/god0fSauce/status/1121325123859038208 https://twitter.com/BobbyMancsScarf/status/1121324533137461248 https://twitter.com/HenryJackson87/status/1121168335788564482 https://twitter.com/nathanmurf/status/1121162865304641537 https://twitter.com/TonyBarrett/status/1121321981071245312 The PFA will honour the players at its annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 28.
