Exclusive: Arsen Goulamirian: "The only thing that I want is to get in the ring and box"
Arsen Goulamirian (24-0) defends his WBA Cruiserweight World championship, this coming Friday in France, against Kane Watts.
In his interview with VBet News Goulamirian said that he is waiting for the upcoming fight again Watts and the only thing that he wants right now is to get in the ring and box.
Your last fight was in 2018, for the first time you were defending your title
against the Australian Mark FLANAGAN in Marseille. How do you feel about this
upcoming fight? Do you think you are in good shape? Are you well trained?
- Yes. Being a boxer, it’s first of all preparation, so I'm ready, I can’t wait to box
on Friday. It took a year to set up the 15th of November. Why? Because we
had a hard year, there was no confrontation, there were some problems with
the WBA federation, but now it’s confirmed. It's on Friday, I'm going up, I can’t
wait, I'm trained, and the only thing that I want is to get in the ring and box.
Thanks, and then compared to your adversary, your opponent on this fight Kana
WATTS, what do you think, do you have comments to make about this boxer?
- The Australians ... it's simple, they're tough. Kana WATTS is not a great
technician but it's a man who master English box has 24 fights, he knows
how to manage his rounds, he is an intelligent boxer, he is tough, he knows
how to advance and how to retreat, what is for sure is that he knows how to
box and he has not come to lose, and it is a beautiful duel.
And the last question, how do you feel about the fact that an Armenian brand
VBET is supporting you for this fight?
First of all, thanks to VBET for being present at this fight behind me and it's
wonderful, because it's going to be presented worldwide, in the countries that
are going to bet, in Armenia especially, because I am Armenian and I am very
happy about that.. and it is beautiful
