Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed Arsenal's transfer plans for January after securing Leandro Trossard's move to the Emirates Stadium.
Gunners have now reached an agreement to sign a £27m contract with the Brighton man until 2026. He will undergo the medical tests on Friday.
Romano has now claimed the transfer window is not over yet for Mikel Arteta's side as they are eager to sign a new right-back this month. According to the sports journalist, Arsenal are now exploring the possible option, with Real Valladolid CF star Ivan Fresneda being on their radar.
“It’s not over yet [Arsenal’s window after signing Trossard], they will explore opportunities. Keep an eye on the right-back situation. They appreciate Ivan Fresneda, also for the midfielder, there could be some opportunities. Let’s see,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
