Fabinho snubs Mancester United, Manchester City and PSG after Jurgen Klopp challenge

Fabinho turned down both Manchester clubs and PSG to join Liverpool after the club boss Jurgen Klopp's' challenge to become a regular. The 26-year-old was targeted by the Reds after his impressive game during Monaco's title winning season in 2017. But when he moved to Anfield, he was told by German boss how he would fit into the Liverpool XI and from then on he was sold. Ricardo Assis, Fabinho’s brother-in-law, told the Telegraph:"Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United , Manchester City and Juventus also talked to his agent, but it was Liverpool that made all the effort to sign him. Klopp showed him videos of the team, explained why he wanted to sign him but he also made it clear that it wouldn’t be straightforward for him to be a regular starter from the beginning. Fabinho left the meeting determined to join Liverpool”. Fabinho made 41 appearances last season in a midfield, sometimes also filling a central defence, as Liverpool won their 6th Europena Cup. As Klopp considers him an important figure in the game, he didn't involve the 26-year-old in the club's fixture against Aston Villa in order the player was fit for Manchester City clash. Liverpool's next Premier League rival will be Crystal Palace on Saturday.
