Europa League semi-finals: Arsenal lost an away leg to Unai Emery's Villarreal


Arsenal suffer a 2-1 defeat to Villarreal in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final clash. Former Arsenal boss Unai Emery's Villarreal side look very comfortable and hold a 2-0 lead at the break. Manu Trigueros and Raul Albiol have scored for the La Liga side. In the 57th minute of the second half, the Gunners suffered another huge blow. Dani Ceballos has been shown a second yellow card for a late challenge on Dani Parejo and has been sent off. Nicolas Pepe gave a little hope to Mikel Arteta's side as he converted from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute of the game.
