Jose Mourinho's Tottenham may have as little as £25 million budget to spend in the summer transfer window, according to
ESPN.
The report suggests the Coronavirus pandemic could have a significant impact on Spur's transferability and that £25 million was ‘ringfenced’ as an emergency fund for potential player transfers.
Tottenham needs to reinforce the squad in the summer transfer window, after a difficult period this season.
It means Jose Mourinho could be working off a very limited budget at the worst potential time. Tottenham are clearly in need of a revamp after a difficult period on the pitch this season and holes appearing in the first-team across several positions.
Tottenham will likely have to revert to free transfers and swap deals. But even those would likely include lucrative signing on fees and other expenses.
