Unai Emery makes huge statement on Europa League

Arsenal will travel to Lisbon to face Sporting in the Europa League. Having won their opening two Europa League fixtures against Qarabag and Vorskla the Gunners will be looking for next win. On their upcoming fixture and the tournament head coach Unai Emery revealed his opinion in his interview with Chris Wheatley: “I am in this competition and I’m telling my Arsenal players it is very important because it is a title and an open door to the next Champions League.” Emery also underlined the importance of the tournament: "When I won it with Sevilla I saw that the English clubs didn’t fight for it, but then UEFA put four years ago a rule to strengthen it, giving the Champions League to the winner and for four years three English teams reached the final," the manager added.
