Arsenal injury news and expected return dates

A number of Arsenal players who have been injured are expected to return to action over the next few weeks. Mesut Ozil, who was sidelined in Arsenal 5-1 win over Fulham, has returned to full training at the club’s London Colney base. He called time on his Germany career after the World Cup and now is fully focused on Arsenal. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is also due to return to training next week ahead of the game against Leicester City. The highly-tared midfielder had to watch on from the sidelines over the past two months after suffering a small fracture to his left fibula. Konstantinos Mavropanos is also set to return to training by the end of the month after suffering a groin strain. What refers to Petr Cech, he will be able to rejoin his teammates only in 3-4 weeks following a hamstring injury with Laurent Koscielny set to return in November. He is working outside as he is undergoing rehabilitation after rupturing his Achilles tendon last May against Atletico Madrid.
