Arsenal have reportedly agreed on a £72million transfer fee with Lille to sign Nicolas Pepe and long-term Gunners target Steven N’Zonzi has reacted to the pursuit in a rather interesting way.
On his official Facebook page, N'Zonzi uploaded a picture of Pepe superimposed in an Arsenal shirt alongside the clapping hand's emoji. He also tagged the Lille forward in the post.
N’Zonzi has been on the Gunners’ radar for a long time, but the France international joined Roma.
He played 30 league games for Roma across the 2018/19 campaign as the Serie A side finished sixth place.
