Unai Emery discusses Sami Khedira’s appearance at Arsenal amid transfer links

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has distanced himself from a move for Sami Khedira after the Juventus midfielder was spotted at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, during Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Lyon. Khedira has been linked with a move away from Juventus and with a number of clubs, with Arsenal, Fiorentina and Valencia all touted as possible destinations. "Khedira is a very good player but this is the first time I have heard his name mentioned," the Spaniard said about the midfielder's presence. Emery is also looking to bolster his defence even further, with the club said to be increasingly confident of signing Kieran Tierney from Celtic.
