Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has confirmed that he maintains a positive relationship with manager Ange Postecoglou, despite previous suggestions that he was not part of the manager's plans and was encouraged to seek a departure.
The Denmark international, who remains a Spurs player following the closure of the summer transfer market, stated, "I follow the path of the coach and the team. Fortunately, it has been a good tone the whole time and there have been no problems from either side."
He continued, "Fortunately, there is a great understanding that the only thing that is important are the challenges that await the team and the club. There has been a good dialogue all along, and there has been great respect for both parties."
The London team have kick-started the season with a great performance and they currently sit a spot below League champions Manchester City. Tottenham's latest fixture concluded in a spectacular 5-2 win against Burnley.
