Oleksandr Zinchenko has named his Arsenal teammate Thomas Partey as the Premier League's most underrated player.
Partey played a crucial role in Arsenal's midfield last season, helping them secure a runner-up position in the Premier League.
This term, due to the arrival of Declan Rice, Arteta has placed Partey in the right-back position, which is a surprising change. However, Zinchenko firmly believes that the Ghanaian professional is the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League, surpassing even Casemiro and Rodri in his opinion.
When asked about the most underrated player in the Premier League, Zinchenko stated that, for him, it's Thomas Partey, although he acknowledged Casemiro's world-class status as well. If he had to choose, Zinchenko would pick Partey.
"Listen, I don’t want to say something bad, he’s absolutely a world-class player as well, Casemiro, five Champions Leagues. But for me, if you wanted me to choose one, it would be Partey," the Ukraine international told Vibe With Five.
"I had the debate in my head, who is the best holding midfielder I have ever played with. It was between Fernandinho, Rodri and Partey.
"It’s a tough one. I watched Fernandinho when he was at Shakhtar and he helped me so much. I love him like an older brother, but Thomas Partey… I don’t know," he added.
