Oleksandr Zinchenko mentions one 'unbelievable lesson' Arsenal learned after Aston Villa win

Arsenal faced Aston Villa in a thrilling 2 - 4 meeting in the Premier League on February 18.

The Gunners headed to Villa Park for very vital three points following their 1 - 3 defeat to Manchester City midweek.

However, Unai Emery and his side didn't make it easy for the North London side. Ollie Watkins opened the scoring for Villa in the fifth minute of the clash, but Bukayo Saka brought the Gunners into the game with a stunner he scored 12 minutes later.

Before the halftime whistle, Philippe Coutinho put his side head. Mikel Arteta's men, meanwhile, found their way to equalize again as Oleksandr Zinchenko found the back of Emi Martinez's net with a brilliant shot scoring his first-ever Premier League goal for the North Londoners.

In the death time, Jorginho's shot hit the crossbar and rebounded off Emiliano Martínez's head before going into the net for an own-goal.

Gabriel Martinelli then added another one to the scoresheet keeping Arsenal's title dream alive.

Speaking to BT Sport post-match, quoted by GOAL, Zincheko admits one 'unbelievable lesson' they learned at Villa Park.

"From this game I would like to say two things. First we took an unbelievable lesson for all of us that we need to believe until the very end".

"Like I said in the past, this group has such amazing people, can achieve everything they want. If we are going to keep fighting and keep believing. The reaction from all of us in the second half is a perfect way to go."
