Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Arsenal stars Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Jesus ahead of the Brentford clash.
The Gunners are heading to the meeting following their second defeat in the domestic League this season after 20 matches played.
North Londoners will host the Bees on Saturday with the hope to get back to their successful run. Ahead of the clash, the team remains at the top of the table with 50 points, with a game in hand and five points above the second-placed Manchester City.
Speaking in his pre-match conference, the Spaniard has given new details on his super duo's current fitness. Arteta confirmed both are doing very noticeable progress and are so close to returning to the pitch, however, Saturday's clash would be too soon for them to get back in action.
"We need to respect some timelines and some processes, but he is doing really well. You have to see now when you put some load on that knee and put some movement and how he reacts." stated the manager via Football London.
"Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson are closer. They are doing some activities, they have been outside."
