Manchester City deal with injury blow as THREE PLAYERS are left out of UEFA Super Cup squad

Manchester City have dealt with an injury blow as Kevin de Bruyne has been left out of City's UEFA Super Cup squad against Sevilla.

City face Sevilla in the final on Wednesday, August 14, 2023 and De Bruyne isn't in the squad.

The midfielder suffered a hamstring injury during City's opening game against Burnley. Pep Guardiola's side celebrated a 3-0 win over the newly promoted team. It is expected for the player to miss for a "few weeks".

Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva are also absent due to injuries.

Ahead of the game, Guardiola confirmed the 22-man squad.
