Liverpool star picks up potential injury ahead of Champions League clash with Midtjylland

Liverpool star Roberto Firmino has picked up a potential foot injury in training on Tuesday, according to the Liverpool Echo‘s Paul Gorst. Reds are set to face their Champions League rivals, Midtjylland, on Wednesday night, while Firmino required treatment from a club physio as he was preparing for the clash along with the squad. Liverpool attacker showed signs of returning to form in recent weeks amid the club's injury crisis. However, Gorst claims the 29-year-old "didn’t appear to be in pain", which means he is doubtful to feature on Wednesday. It remains to be seen if Jurgen Klopp will decide to include Firmino in the squad against Midtjylland.
