According to European paper talks, Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane wants to complete Sadio Mane’s transfer this summer, as Senegal international is one of the targets for French coach. Mane’s form has been rewarded by being named the PFA Player of the Month for March and he saw off Lucas Digne, Wilfred Ndidi, Raheem Sterling, Jamie Vardy and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to scoop the prize.
It is the second time he has landed the award this season, after also being rewarded for his efforts in August.
Real Madrid who have been targeting Mane, have made decisive steps in his pursuit.
According to El Confidential
, Madrid went to Liverpool to discuss an asking price for Mane. But Liverpool responded by demanding that Madrid pay €200 million (£173m) and include Vinicius in the deal.
Los Blancos signed Vinicius in a £38.7 million deal from Flamengo last summer and the 18-year-old has impressed this season with three goals and 12 assist before he suffered an ankle ligament injury in March. The Champions League holders turned down Liverpool’s proposal but El Chiringuito reports that Vinicius remains an ‘obsession’ of Klopp.
