"I had concerns": Micah Richards admits Newcastle man 'proved him wrong'

Micah Richards has heaped his praise on manager Eddie Howe. Richards admitted that he first doubted the Newcastle United boss and what he can do with the new signings. However, the pundit and former player stated that Howe 'proved him wrong' by getting positive results in the league. He wrote on The Daily Mail claiming the following,

“Top marks to Eddie Howe. I had concerns about Newcastle in January and wondered how he would get all those new signings into his team.   "The pressure of spending all that money — and getting immediate results — was huge.   “But he has found a way of playing and the run of form they have enjoyed has almost banished any fear of them being relegated.   "He has done an excellent job and his work in knitting it all together needs acknowledging.”
