Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has dismissed the talks about his transfer to Bayern Munich.
According to Sport Bild, the German club failed to bring the player during the summer transfer window.
Bayern wanted to sign another City star Leroy Sané. But the Sky Blues didn’t agree to sell the 23-year-old, offering Jesus instead of him with a less deal cost.
However, the German club boss Niko Kovac was against the 22-year-old’s transfer.
In response to the rumours, Jesus replied with one word on his Instagram page:
"Lie."
City fans appreciated his response, saying the forward "is going nowhere".
In this City season, Jesus has scored four goals during his eight appearances.
