Manchester United will conduct assessments on Raphael Varane, Mason Mount, Sofyan Amrabat, and Harry Maguire during their final training session before their Premier League match against Burnley.
Mason Mount has been sidelined for the past four games due to a muscular issue, while Raphael Varane has been absent since his halftime substitution during the 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest four weeks ago. Both players participated in team training on Tuesday but did not travel with the United squad to Germany for their 4-3 Champions League group stage loss to Bayern Munich.
United's new signing Sofyan Amrabat underwent an individual training session during the week, while Harry Maguire sustained an injury and was unable to be part of the squad for the Bayern Munich match.
In the latest pre-match press conference ahead of the Burnley clash, the Red Devils' boss Erik ten Hag provided an injury update on the club stars.
"As you say, Harry Maguire but we will see again after training," the manager said, via Manchester Evening News.
"But Varane will train, we will see, Amrabat will train, we will see and Mount as well. But they didn't play for short or longer-term. Varane, obviously, was the shortest out," he added.
