Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is ready to help Chelsea and extend the loan for Mateo Kovacic another 12 month- with the inclusion of an obligatory permanent option, according to El Confidencial.
Kovacic joined Chelsea on a season-long loan last summer and has made 46 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
The Croatia international’s future is in limbo due to the club’s transfer ban.
Kovacic’s performances have led to mixed reviews from Chelsea fans but Maurizio Sarri wants the Blues to sign him on a permanent deal.
Real Madrid would be prepared to put the proposal forward if Chelsea accept a €35m fee.
