Manchester City and River Plate have signed all paperwork for Julian Alvarez, as per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. Alvarez is on his way to join City from River Plate. The 21-year-old made 46 appearances last season in which he scored 24 goals and provided 15 assists. Taking to Twitter, Romano provided an update as fans wait for Manchester City's announcement: "Manchester City and River Plate have just signed all paperworks for Julián Álvarez. Deal finally completed and set to be announced in the coming hours. "Man City will also confirm that Julián stays at River Plate on loan at least until July."
