The summer transfer window is getting closer and there are many transfers that could happen.

During the January transfer window, Aston Villa welcomed Philippe Coutinho on loan, while Juventus signed Dusan Vlahovic.

One of the most talked-about transfers so far was Ferran Torres' move from Manchester City to Barcelona.

As the winter transfer window of 2022 is already a history and we are looking forward to the summer transfer window, here is a list of the Top most expensive transfers of 2022.

  • Transfer fee - €17.00m

Manchester City announced the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate on January Transfer window Deadline Day. The 22-year-old signed a contract with City until 2027, however, he will remain at River Plate on loan and will join City in the summer of 2022.  

 

Rodrigo Bentancur

  • Juventus to Tottenham
  • Transfer fee - €19.00m

Bentancur signed for Spurs on January transfer deadline day from Juventus. The 24-year-old signed a contract with Tottenham until the summer of 2026.  

 

Vitaliy Mykolenko

  • Transfer fee - €23.50m

Vitaliy Mykolenko signed for Everton on January 1st from Dynamo Kyiv on a four-and-half-year deal. Mykolenko made overall 16 appearances for the Toffees in which he scored 1 goal.
