De Jong reveals he would like to see De Ligt at Barcelona

Frenkie de Jong thinks his former Ajax teammate Matthijs de Ligt is doing well at Juventus but he would want to see  him at Barcelona. In an interview with La Gazzetta Dello Sport he said: “I have not seen all his (de Ligt) matches, so I cannot analyze everything. I have seen the games against Fiorentina and Atlético Madrid. He has done very well. So far he plays a lot. He is doing well, so he started well. It is still a very young player. “That you are at such an age and playing at a club like Juventus is very good. Of course I would have liked to see him here at Barça, but I didn’t say anything about it. It was his choice that he had to make with his family, agent and everyone close to him.” Frenkie de Jong and Matthijs de Ligt both left Ajax during this summer transfer window.
