Chelsea chief Marina Granovskaia tipped to axe three stars at the request of Frank Lampard

Chelsea have already signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and spent £90million. They are now close to signing Kai Havertz for what would be a club-record fee. The Blues' transfer chief Marina Granovskaia has been tipped to help recover some of that money spent with a few high-profile exits. Having been unable to spend any money last summer due to a transfer ban, Chelsea look as though they're set to make up for lost ground this time around. But Chelsea's spending is unlikely to stop at Havertz, with several positions top of Lampard's wishlist. Kepa Arrizabalaga's future remains uncertain as well amid reports suggesting Lampard is ready to find a new first-choice goalkeeper. But Townsend believes the Chelsea boss will be more focussed on bringing in another centre-back, while also tipping Jorginho, Antonio Rudiger and one of Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri to be sold this summer. "I think Frank knows what he doesn't want," he said on Premier League Daily. "The players at that club that he's got at the minute that he doesn't want to see coming back "Could well be the goalkeeper. The problem with the goalkeeper is they paid so much money for him and recouping a sensible amount out of that deal because you're not going to get that. The likes of Jorginho, it looks like since the restart he's done and he's going to be moving on to pastures new. "Full-back has been a bit of an issue. At left-back, whether it be Emerson or Alonso playing over there, you can't have Azpilicueta there at the start of next season. They need to address that. [They need] probably another centre-half. Someone who can be there absolutely. Rudiger does well at times. "But I get the impression that Frank's not convinced by anything back there and he'd like to address that this summer. I think that's what he's done particularly well, focusing not only on what you want and acquiring those, but also making sure you're adamant about the ones you don't want coming back for pre-season."
