BBC pundit names the Chelsea player who looked 'back to his best' against Newcastle United

Former Tottenham player Garth Crooks believes Callum Hudson-Odoi is looking “back to his best” after helping Chelsea to beat Newcastle United on Saturday. "I don't know what Frank Lampard is serving these youngsters for breakfast at Stamford Bridge but it certainly seems to be working," Crooks said in his team of the week feature for the BBC website, after selecting Hudson-Odoi in his team. "The latest protege to find himself back in the limelight is Callum Hudson-Odoi. I selected Hudson-Odoi in my team last season before he got injured but against Newcastle, he looked back to his best." Crooks believes that Hudson-Odoi and his team-mates could enjoy some success over the coming seasons. "Chelsea are not the force they have been in the past but with Hudson-Odoi, Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount, Fikayo Tomori and Kurt Zouma - plus a little bit of luck and a fair wind - they could be winning trophies in two years," Crooks added.
