Anthony Joshua’s sparring partner has been revealed as Timothy Moten. Eddie Hearn previously admitted his team wanted “chubby fighters” to replicate Andy Ruiz Jr’s style.
Ruiz Jr is the only man to have beaten Joshua in a professional ring. Ruiz dropped the Brit four times, as he surrendered world titles in June.
Joshua is in the midst of his 12-week training camp and is working towards avenging his shock defeat in the money-spinning December 7 rematch with Ruiz in Saudi Arabia.
Although it is yet to be officially confirmed, American Moten posted multiple clips of himself training at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield, where AJ is based with coach Rob McCracken.
