Emile Smith Rowe drops hint on new Arsenal shirt number amid Aston Villa links

Emile Smith Rowe might have a new arsenal squad number as he was pictured deliberately obscuring his training shirt during a pre-season training photo shoot. The 20-year-old has earned a place as a first team regular last season after he was drafted into the side by Mikel Arteta after a series of disappointing results. Smith Row has two years remaining on his current contract, but speculation surrounding his future has increased this summer with Aston Villa having seen two audacious bids flatly rejected by the Gunners. The youngster wore No.32 last season, but he looks set for a promotion given the pictures which emerged on Tuesday, one of which saw him deliberately cover up the section of his shirt that would normally display a number.
