Chelsea are known as one of the most successful negotiators in the transfer market. Their sale of Eden Hazard to Real Madrid has only strengthened that view.
Hazard left for Real Madrid a year ago, switching to the Bernabeu in a deal worth €100million (£89m).
However, Hazard's performances were not affected by the transfer speculation and he still managed to register 21 goals and 17 assists in 52 appearances in his final Chelsea campaign. An injury has severely hampered his first season in Spain and the winger has managed just 15 appearances for his new club.
This has significantly harmed his market value, according to the latest research from CIES Football Observatory. Hazard is now worth just €65.5million (£58m), showing Chelsea have benefited around £30m from his timely sale.
