Eden Hazard makes Real Madrid request as team-mate refuses to give up shirt number

After making his dream move to Real Madrid, everyone is waiting for which number will Eden Hazard take. It is expected for him to take number 7 as it is believed that Luka Modric refused to give up on number 10. However, Mariano, who is currently wearing number 7, also doesn't want to give the number to former Chelsea forward. According to Marca, Hazard will now take number 23 which was worn by David Beckham during his time in Spain. But for Hazard, that's not the reason as the Belgian international wants the number 23 because of famous basketball players Michael Jordan and LeBron James.  Hazard is believed to be a basketball fan.
