Dillian Whyte: "If Andy Ruiz can knock out Anthony Joshua, I definitely can"

Dillian Whyte has a promised shot at the WBC heavyweight title due in early 2021.  For that to happen, WBC titleholder Tyson Fury and WBA/IBF/WBO titleholder Anthony Joshua would have to meet first. If Joshua were to win that hypothetical matchup, then Whyte (27-1, 18 KO) would welcome a rematch with his old rival.  And if he does get that second crack at AJ, Whyte tells Sky Sports he’s very confident he can get the knockout this time around, reasoning that if Andy Ruiz Jr can stop Joshua, Whyte certainly can, saying he feels he’s a harder puncher. “I’ve got better feet than him as well, and better boxing technique than Andy Ruiz,” Whyte told Sky. “He’s got fast hands, but his feet are slow. I’ve shown also in fights that I can come back from being down on the scorecards and I carry knockout power in the later stages of the fight as well, which is a big thing for a heavyweight.” Source: Sky Sports
