Dendoncker sends message to Wolves teammates after Europa League draw

After winning 5-3 on aggregate over Torino in the Europa League play-off round, Wolves qualified for the Europa League and were drawn in Group K with Besiktas, Braga and Slovan Bratislava. Ahead of the Europa League games, Wolves midfielder Leander Dendoncker has urged his teammates to “believe in their strength." “I think so, of course," said Dendoncker when asked about if Wolves now have the same potential as Anderlecht. Dendocker was member of Anderlecht's side when they reached the quarter-finals of the competition in 2016/17. “We have to believe in our strength. First we have to get through the group stage which won't be easy," continued the midfielder. “We just have to be convinced of our own strength and take it game by game. Reaching the group stage is a great accomplishment for this club. “I think we showed some good things and deserved to go to the group stage. We just have to try to keep going the way we are playing, then we will see.” Wolves are currently preparing to play Premier League game against Everton tomorrow, September 1.
