Jurgen Klopp speaks out on Bobby Duncan row

Liverpool have been accused of mentally bullying Steven Gerrard’s cousin Bobby Duncan, by the 18-year-old’s agent. Saif Rubie, the youngster’s representative, posted a statement on Twitter claiming that the Reds have “mentally bullied” and “destroyed the life” of the player. After the accusation, Liverpool came out with a statement and days later the Reds boss has also spoken out on the case. "We had an official statement from the club about that," said Klopp. "That's the situation. It's really difficult to speak as a non-native speaker as each word has to be the right one, but I can say we really, really care about our young players and Bobby is one. "In football, sometimes contract things can be a problem. That's a normal situation in all age groups. But with young players we are especially sensitive. We have to do the right things, all the different parties." As a reminder, Liverpool are preparing to face Burnley today, August 31. via Mirror.
