Davinson Sanchez’s agent provides update on player's Tottenham future

Davinson Sanchez’s agent, Néstor Villarreal has opened up about the central defender’s future at Tottenham. The 25-year-old is currently yet to link up with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side following his involvement with Colombia at Copa America, in which they finished in third place. Sanchez is expected to spend the next few days with family before reporting back for duty at Hotspur Way next week. Villarreal, who also represents Atalanta forward Duván Zapata claimed that while Sanchez is happy at Tottenham, they are currently working on things in the background and should a suitable offer be made, he could leave the club.

He told Colombian news outlet Gol Caracol: “Davinson and Duván [Zapata] are working on some things, looking to see if something comes. The two are calm where they are. They have a contract, if something better comes, they will leave or else they will stay. They are without a problem there.”
