Japhet Tanganga makes 'attacking' claim over Nuno Espirito Santo's Tottenham

Japhet Tanganga believes that new Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is going to bring attacking football to the club. There were fears that former Wolves boss will bring more of the opinion-dividing counter-attacking football produced under Jose Mourinho. However, Tanganga explained that from what he's experienced so far in pre-season training at Hotspur Way under the new head coach, the focus will be on attack.
"I can tell you for sure that we're going to be attacking. That's because we've been working hard on it in training and on pressing, and implementing his ideas," he said when asked what he thought a Nuno Espirito Santo Tottenham side will look like.   "I think the lads have been worked really hard and I've been worked really hard, so I think it's going to be exciting times in these coming years."
The 22-year-old also added:
"I think my ambition would definitely be to have played a part in Spurs winning something this season, playing a large majority of the games," he said when asked what he hopes to have achieved when he looks back in 12 months' time.   "I think for me, having that breakthrough season, then the injury and then the next season getting a couple of injuries, I didn't really get a real run of games.   "My goal this season is just to get as many games as I can and get as fit as I can and try to bring some silverware to this club."
