David De Gea sends message to Manchester United fans after Chelsea errors

David De Gea apologized to Manchester United fans after his latest errors against Chelsea at Old Trafford. The goalkeeper made huge error in Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea to leave his team’s hopes of securing Champions League football next season looking bleak. The Spaniard spilled Antonio Rudiger’s shot from 30 yards, allowing Marcos Alonso to score a crucial equaliser. De Gea’s error was his third in the last four matches and he’s made more mistakes this season that have led to goals than in his previous five Premier League campaigns put together. Against Barcelona, he allowed Lionel Messi's shot to sneak underneath his body. At Everton, he was slow to get to his right and stop Gylfi Sigurdsson's strike from distance. His mistake in the Manchester derby was to kick Leroy Sane's shot into the corner of his own net but it was his handling this time. Following the match the Spaniard made his feelings clear to the Stretford End by apologising to the crowd as he made his way in by raising an arm to the crowd.
