David de Gea drops transfer hint with Sergio Ramos tweet

Photo/Stu Forster/Getty Images David de Gea took to Twitter to post a picture of himself hugging Real Madrid captain and international teammate Sergio Ramos and alongside the image, he wrote: Did you miss me?" According to some worried Manchester United fans, the goalkeeper has dropped a hint over his future. The Spaniard has been linked with a move away from United and is yet to agree on terms on a new deal to remain at the club.

United may be considering the option of selling De Gea to ensure they get a transfer fee for him and one club that has been linked with the player is Real Madrid. Manchester United fans are convinced De Gea himself is ramping things up by dropping a hint on social media. Responding to the post, one Man United fan replied: "Maybe he's hugging you because you told [him] you gone (sic) be in Madrid this summer." Another added: "Are you trying to tell us you are leaving?,' and a third concluded: "I don't feel comfortable seeing Ramos hugging De Gea." De Gea is currently on international duty with Spain National team. They will face the Faroe Islands and Sweden as part of their qualifying campaign for the 2020 European Championship on June 7 and 10 respectively.
