Darren Bent reveals the RIDICULOUS reason why Jordan Henderson got PULLED out of training session
Former England national team forward Darren Bent has told a story on why Jordan Henderson was once pulled out of Sunderland training session. Bent, one of the PL top scorers, has played with Henderson in 2010-11 season.
“He is the only guy I have trained with and played with that got pulled out of training because their heart rate was too high", Bent told TalkSport (via LiverpoolECHO).
"All the years I have trained and played, he was the only player where the manager had to pull him out of training because the manager was like ‘Listen, you red zone stats are way too high, you are going to have a heart attack if you carry on’.” Bent added.
Henderson has moved to Liverpool in 2011 for £20 m. He has since become Reds captain to lift Champions League title in 2018/19 season.
