Danny Murphy says Arsenal have a “powerful, intelligent” talent in their ranks

Pundit Danny Murphy has shared his full praise for Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, claiming the club’s midfielder is a “really powerful, intelligent” player whose best is yet to come. Since arriving at the Emirates Stadium last year, Partey has struggled to shine due to injury and fitness issues. He picked up an ankle injury in pre-season game against Chelsea and had to miss Arsenal’s first four games of the season. Now Partey is fully recovered and back to first-team squad.

“I have seen a lot of Partey,” Murphy said on talkSPORT.   “I don’t think yet people who don’t know enough about him have seen the best of him.   “He is a really powerful intelligent footballer who is influential in that middle of the park in terms of protection of those back players.”
