Arsenal are set to decide the next vice-captain following Hector Bellerin's temporary departure to Real Betis in the summer.
And they appear to have announced Granit Xhaka as the club's vice-captain for the 2021/22 season. Mikel Arteta has not officially named the central midfielder as Spaniard's replacement for the vice-captain role, but images from the first-team squad's photocall at London Colney almost confirms it. Judging by the seating arrangement in the squad photocall, it looks like Arteta has already decided that Xhaka is going to be the new Arsenal vice-captain.
