Daniil Medvedev expresses major concern on playing in China next week

Daniil Medvedev has made admission that he wouldn't feel comfortable playing in China next week if there was an ATP tournament. On Wednesday, WTA made a big announcement that all tournaments scheduled in China next year will be cancelled. Peng Shuai went missing in China a month ago after accusing a former vice premier of sexual assault. The WTA tried to get into a direct contact with Peng but their attempts went unsuccessful. They received a couple of mails from Peng but they believed that those mails were influenced by others.
"If the tournament would be next week, probably nobody would feel comfortable," said the World No. 2.
"What WTA did is a reaction, so ATP did a different reaction. I don't want to say which one is good or bad."   "But definitely what WTA did is strong. Yeah, there were a lot of money involved there.
On Thursday, the ATP released a statement, however, they never mentioned suspending tournaments in China.
